About this Session
How can we evaluate UX concepts with clinical users in a way that allows for early, immersive, cost-efficient, and sustainable testing? This is particularly challenging in the development of hardware because testing with mockups can be difficult. They are time-consuming to create, expensive, and difficult to transport. Additionally, expert users in the medical domain are a hard-to-recruit group, as they are urgently needed in their medical facilities. Mixed Reality UX Testing bridges this gap by making multiple concept ideas experienceable and portable, enabling us to gather user feedback early in high fidelity, even on-site at a hospital or somewhere else. In this talk, we will also look at the limitations and share our experiences with this technology, so you can decide if mixed reality user testing would be useful within your product development.
